Some years ago, someone fund a gold nugget in Pelegtanga some 60km north of Ouagadougou. Very fast the word spread through Burkina Faso and hundreds of holes were dig around the site. Out of nowhere grew a huge village of straw huts with thousands of inhabitants, no water supply and only four policemen. Some made fortune, other lost their life under the crumbling stones. |
